We structure the training so that it helps you make healthy, lasting changes to your physical activity and diet, so you lose and maintain weight loss in the long-term. You will exercise regularly and correctly with supervision and motivation, whilst incorporating education to make healthier choices about your individual diet and lifestyle.
Our constant coaching helps keep you focused and relaxed about the journey as there are invariably great achievements and a few potholes along the way. We want to make your regular exercise enjoyable and fun – it is not all about sweat and pain!
By training with Eternally Fit you have taken the first step to making some lasting changes towards improving your health, your fitness, and your quality of life. Eternally Fit aims to combine exercise with education and knows that weight-loss is NOT a one-size-fits-all solution.
Everything must be taken at one step at a time. You will get there if you work with us and commit to making the required changes to your lifestyle. The benefits of losing weight are simple – a healthier body, a healthier heart, healthier vital organs, and a healthier mind.
At times the journey will be difficult and challenging, but you will receive constant encouragement, reassurance, education, inspiration and motivation to keep you going along your new path.
Our classes are efficient and effective at getting your body to work for you by changing your resting metabolic rate. The EPOC (Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption – or ‘after burn’) you experience will see you burning fat at a quicker rate than if you exercised for twice as long in the ‘fat burning’ range. Our goal is to set your metabolism on fire and turn you into a fat burning machine!
Renewed Enthusiasm Towards Maintaining your Health
To help maintain your enthusiasm, we offer a variety of training methods, equipment, and levels of intensity to keep you training at your best.
The human body is incredibly smart, efficient and quick to adapt to any stress caused by exercise. What may have worked for you 6 months or even 6 weeks ago will not have the same results now.
Eternally Fit will add the variety, the challenges, and good company to remove the routine and help you maintain workout efficiency and enjoyment to avoid plateauing and have you coming back for more.
Eternally Fit strives to keep your body guessing so it just cannot adapt. We aim to challenge you with variety, fun and energy to keep you excited about your exercise.
Yesterday you may have had a great workout at the gym. You bench-pressed more weight than ever before, and are pulling enough weight on the seated rowing machine to try out for the Olympic sculling team.
Today, you lift a 25 kilogram suitcase to carry it downstairs — and throw your back out! What happened? In all likelihood, you are not paying
enough attention to your functional fitness. You might be toned, tight, and ready for the beach, but are you ready to lift your toddler out of the car seat or hoist the spring-water bottle onto the dispenser?
Functional fitness focuses on building a body capable of doing real-life activities in real-life situations, not just lifting a certain amount of weight in an idealised posture created by a gym machine. It is all about integration – teaching all the muscles to work together rather than isolating them to work independently.
A variety of exercises are used that work flexibility, core, balance, strength, and power.
Improved Strength and Overall Conditioning
We help you create and maintain more efficient, stronger lean muscle by properly supervising strength/resistance training exercises and ensuring you are using proper technique.
The aim is to provide you with significant strength and conditioning benefits and improvements in your overall personal performance – i.e, get you fit.
We exercise the major muscle groups to challenge and improve your lean muscle mass. It’s not only about muscle size but muscle efficiency – better energy creation, co-ordination, agility, power and balance. We progressively increase the energy output of the muscles through increases of weight and other techniques.
