Before I started with Eternally Fit, I was pretty all over the place with exercise. I’d kick things off feeling really motivated, but it wouldn’t take long before I’d lose steam—especially if I wasn’t seeing results straight away. I definitely fell into that trap of paying for a gym membership and never actually going… which was frustrating (and a bit of a waste!). I also realise now I was trying to do what I thought I should be doing, instead of what actually worked for me. It all felt a bit directionless, like I was just going through the motions without really enjoying it or knowing if it was even effective.
The biggest thing FIRE has done for me has been the structure and consistency. Every session feels like it has a purpose, and that’s made it so much easier to stick with long-term. It’s just become part of my routine now—which is something I’ve never been able to say before! And to be fair, Steve makes it pretty hard to pull a sickie too
. The other standout is the vibe. It’s such a supportive, fun and motivating environment. I’ve never felt intimidated or like I’m being judged—it’s just really encouraging. That’s made a massive difference in getting me to show up and actually push myself, without it feeling like a chore.
Just start—don’t overthink it. You don’t need to be fit or “ready,” you just need to give it a go. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about showing up consistently. Also, trust the process. The training and the nutrition side really do go hand in hand. Even small changes make a difference—something as simple as doing a bit of meal prep on a Sunday sets you up for the whole week. Honestly, you’ll probably start feeling better in yourself—more energy and more confidence—before you even notice the physical changes. That’s what really keeps you going.
